How to Play the Imposter Game

The imposter word game is a social deduction party game built on bluffing and inference. Supheli brings it to your browser.

Roles

Each round the system picks a category and word. Civilians see category + word; impostors see category only.

Flip your card in private. Civilians see the secret word; impostors only see the category.

Take turns saying one word. Never say the secret word itself. The impostor has to bluff.

Who sounded off? Compare clues, watch faces, form theories.

Majority finds the impostor → civilians win. Wrong accuse → impostor scores. If caught, they can guess the word for redemption.

If the impostor is caught, they get one chance to guess the secret word for redemption points.

Points stack across the series. Highest score wins when the series ends.
